Healthy Recipes
«Quickly prepared, high in protein and simply delicious» is the slogan of our recipe. It
takes our patients’ usual eating habits into consideration and provides an additional
healthy twist by embracing the nutritional recommendations after bariatric surgery. This
meal is easily prepared and thus also suitable for beginner cooks. On a nutritional level, it
excels with a wealth of protein and its high biological value.
Cooking instructions
1. Peel and grate the potatoes. Mix the flour and spices well.
2. Cut the pickles into small cubes and mix them with the grated potatoes. Mould into
two pieces of potato burger patties with the help of a tablespoon.
3. Peel the onion and garlic clove and chop both of them finely. Combine with meat, egg
and finely chopped thyme leaves.
4. Season the mixture generously with the spices. Mould into four meat burger patties.
5. Heat the oil in a frying pan and roast the potato as well as the meat burgers well on
both sides for 4-5 minutes. While frying, you can gently flatten the patties with a
spatula.
6. In the meantime, cut the tomato into slices of ½ - 1 cm and set aside on a plate. They
will serve as base for the burgers.
7. Place the cottage cheese in a small bowl and with some scissors, cut the chives into
small pieces over the cottage cheese. Mix well.
8. Spread the cottage cheese on the tomato slices.
9. Prepare the salad with the dressing of your choice and add it to the plate.
10. Carefully place a well-cooked meat burger on the cottage cheese, put a potato burger
as a next layer and finish with a meat burger on top. Fix all the layers with a wooden
skewer. Serve and enjoy!
