         Healthy Recipes




          Note

          This recipe is packed with protein, b vitamins, calcium and more! It’s so versatile and can
          be enjoyed as a tasty main meal, lunch or snack.



          Cooking instructions


          1.  Prepare the healthy pastry
             Mix all ingredients together until it forms a smooth paste that holds itself in a ball, If
            it’s too dry, add a little more water or if too sloppy, add extra flour.

             Roll out on a floured surface, until about 3mm thick. Place in a lined/ greased 20cm
            ovenproof dish, press firmly to the sides and trim any excess (can freeze for another
            use).

          2.  Prepare the high protein filling
             Combine all ingredients (you can add your favourite veg to the mixture, we love high
            protein broccoli, peas)

             Place on top of the pastry and place in a pre-heated oven- 180 degrees Celsius for 30-
            45 minutes, until golden brown on top and the centre is firm and cooked throughout.
             Allow to cool and cut into desired portion size. Garnish with mixed seeds for added
            crunch.
             Serve with beans, vegetables, beetroot salad or enjoy on its own.
