          Notes

          For patients that have undergone bariatric surgery, one slice will make one serving
          whereas non surgical patients can consume two slices as one serving. If you are not
          making solid-liquid separation, you can have a glass of ayran (yogurt drink) with a slice
          of this delicious dish. We have divided the hash brown in the square baking tray into 9
          pieces. Each slice contains 177 kcal and 10 gr of protein.




          Cooking instructions


          1.  Soak the yellow lentils in water overnight, drain and boil them.
          2.  Put the boiled lentils in the food processor and process until you get a mash consi-
            stency.

          3.  Chop the onions and garlics and saute with 2 tablespoons of olive oil.
          4.  Soak the braided cheese in cold water for 10 minutes, then grate.
          5.  Finely chop parsley, dill and scallions.
          6.  Put all ingredients into a container and mix until you get a homogeneous mixture.
          7.  Put a baking paper on a baking tray and place the mixture into the baking tray.
          8.  Cook in the oven preheated to 180 degrees until golden brown.
