Preface
It is with great pleasure that we introduce the IFSO 2024 Cookbook, the third in the
IFSO collection. Although written for people living with overweight or obesity, and those
undergoing metabolic and bariatric surgery, the recipes for healthy and nutritious meals
will appeal to everyone.
This has been an IFSO global initiative with all members, plus their family, friends, and
patients being invited to invited to submit recipes. Consequently, recipes were received
from over 15 countries reflecting our dierent foods and cultures. IFSO Integrated
Health dietitians/nutritionists reviewed and judged the recipes. The best recipes were
selected for publication and will tempt everyone’s appetite.
We are very grateful to the authors for their engagement and contributions and making
this important project possible. A huge thanks also to the IFSO dietitians/nutritionists
who freely gave their time in reviewing and judging the entries. These include: Eri
